To use
Itaú Private Bank International Internet Banking, you would need:
• A banking or investment account at Itaú Private Bank International or at BIE Bank & Trust Bahamas Limited
• Internet access
• A browser with 128-bit SSL encryption
Currently Itaú Private Bank International
Internet Banking supports:
• Netscape® Communicator 4.7x and higher, except
6.0
• Microsoft® Internet Explorer® 5.0 and higher,
except IE 5.1.1 - 5.1.4 on Macintosh
• AOL version 5.0 and higher (Windows & Macintosh
OSx)
If you're not sure what browser version
or what level of encryption you have, here's how to check:
Windows: launch your browser. Under Help, select "About…"
Macintosh: launch your browser. Under the Apple menu, select
"About…"
It will tell you if you are using the U.S. 128-bit version
or the International 40-bit version.
(If your browser has 128-bit encryption you may see some
or all of the following terms "128-bit", "supports
U.S. security", and DES-3." If you see "supports
international security" you have 40-bit encryption.)
Remember, you need to use the stronger U.S. 128-bit version.
• All AOL browsers version 5.0 and higher support 128-bit
encryption.
